The last couple of days of been extraordinary. The team has attended sessions on vehicle controllers, powertrain cooling, aeromodifications among many other topics. We are attending training on our hardware in the loop hardware today which should be exciting.

As many know, Jay Leno, is a very big car collector and also seems to be very interested in using alternative fuels (especially hydrogen). Because of this, he's added a few videos onto his website that we'd like to share.

Green Garage: Jay Leno finds green solutions to garage problems

The Hydrogen Road Tour made a stop at the E^3 Commons on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 to teach about how hydrogen powered vehicles work and the changes that they may be able to bring about in our world. To help them along in this, they brought along with them nine hydrogen powered vehicles and two mobile fueling stations. All in all, a great first event for the brand new commons.

The grand opening of our very own Hydrogen Fueling Station at the E^3 Commons on White Columns Dr. This marks the beginning of a very big step for the university as well as for the EcoCAR team and any subsequent competitions that may follow.
